A well known writer of stage plays, director, and former ETV head currently trustee of Sanketh Trust working for Ranga Shanker S Surendranath novel written in Germany when he got trained in GRIPS theatre module is now subject for Dhuniya Soori film ‘Kenda Sampige’ Part II Ginimari Case.

This is the story Surendranath written in 1997. It has come to the vision of our directors at least now is the first solace. On Saturday evening Dhuniya Soori in the presence of bigwigs like Surendranath, Yogaraj Bhat, Jayanth Kaikini released promos and trailers one after the other at Renukamba Digital theatre in an outstanding event. It was outstanding because people were standing outside the preview theatre also.

Firstly he had now showed the censor certificate for whatever he had shown, secondly what looked very pleasant and appealing for Soori gang, it was not so for the media especially the last promo of an innocent with parents at Soori chamber. The liberal use of Kannada songs of yesteryears was also not apt as the Copy Right Act today is very strict.

However he had traveled 14 districts for ‘Kenda Sampige’ 2 Ginimari Case. It is a road cinema. Vicky alias Santosh and Manvitha Harish are in lead roles. The film shot a few scenes at Thuppada Kola after doyen Puttanna Kanagal ‘Nagarahavu’. Govindu is producer of this film and he has liked Dhuniya Soori from day one.
